Hi All
I've recently purchased a Samsung T260HD. Excellent TV/Monitor Btw.
Anyway, Ive been having an issue whereby sometimes the screen will go blank briefly then come back on and off multiple times.. Even going into standby on some occasions while playing games or watching Video through media player.
I have an Ati X850 XT AGP card.. using DVI-D... However after my Nvidia fanboy friend suggested that ATI sucks monkey nuts and that's most likely the cause, he suggested I get another Card preferbly Nvidia..
Before I do this I spent 10 hours searching the net for an answer because basically My Mobo only supports AGP. And Nvidia have long since given up supporting that side of the market..
I read one article about 40% of ATI cards having no display at all using DVI-D connection. So I decided to try the crappy Analog cable supplied with the lovely T260HD Monitor..
So far I haven't had a single problem...
which means my fanboy friend could be right about ATi cards.. or Annoying Trash Interface cards.
If I replaced my Graphics Card with another or replaced the system completly would it guarantee 100% that I could use DVI-D properly !!...
Anyone...?
