My N460-GTX got spoiled, and i need an upgrade to that graphic card. I do not know what to get and my budget is £400 max, also i want to play games and I am a 3D animator. please let me know what graphic card to buy thanks

This what I was told by someone and i just want to make sure (MSI - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB GAMING X Video Card)

my mother board is: Gigabyte - GA-H55M-UD2H Micro ATX LGA1156 Motherboard

thanks

1070 aint massively faster so i wouldn't.
See if you can run the budget out a bit more to get a 1080 or a vega 56 which has the added judos of being unicorn poop and just having one is an amazing achievement :D

thanks for the feedback everyone, @Pants i use the new Arnold render in Maya, but i'm not big on renders cause i mostly animate, but i would love to have a good agreement on which will be better i don't mind putting (a little) extra money on it but i do want good performance.

if you look around you can get a 1070ti for under £400. if you need to buy right now and £400 is you top budget, that is what i would get.

that said.... hmmm, that is a gen 1 i3/5/7 mobo isnt it? if so the rest of your rig may be a big bottleneck
