graphic card upgrade

new to group and looking at upgrading graphics card from on board graphics but unsure what will be ok for my pc.
motherboard is
Gigabyte A520M K V2
CPU is
AMD Ryzen 5 4600G
Ram 16gig

All the computer is used for is business accounts, light gaming (hidden objects, match 3 etc) and streaming
any help appreciated

Do you have a budget in mind?
What resolution do you want to play at?

An AMD 9060XT would be ideal for 1080P and last you awhile if you can afford to pair it with a secondhand CPU upgrade if possible, such as a 5600X/5700X, or if you can stretch to it a 5700X3D?
Fit a 32GB 2x16GB secondhand ram kit when the prices calm down.
That'd keep you gaming for a few years at 1080P I'd imagine

thanks for reply but im looking at just upgrading the graphics as its mainly business computer

With those sort of games the 4600G your running should be more then capable. However if you really want upgrade to play games with actual 3D graphics an RX 9060 8gb should do the trick, if you wanted to save money a 2nd 6600 would work as well.

Won't the OP's CPU still seriously bottleneck even a 9060? Or is a 4600G in the same realm, as say a 5600X?

2nd hand 6600 or 7600 i think would suit that gpu better imo.. dont think cpu would be able to keep up too well with a 9060

Yeah, it will be a bottleneck, but since they're upgrading from the onboard it'll still be an enormous upgrade to have anything like a 6600 (or better).

Is this a PC with a power connector for your graphics card? If there's no power connector, I'd look at a 1650 (for the right price!), though some models do have one. This card has very modest power usage.

The 6600 is also light on power (so is the RTX 4060), at around ~130 watts, which would suit a weaker (say... 550 watt) PSU.

its not a problem as such, but sometimes when watching say youtube, or online videos i get a bar about 1/4 way up the screen flashes, all drivers are up to date etc.

unsure on power connector id have a look at it tomorrow but not a problem to replace if needed
