Graphic equaliser for Vista

Hello,

My speakers are pretty bass heavy. This isn't an issue when using WMP as it has a built in equaliser so i can turn the bass down a little.

However when using iplayer, spotify, 4od etc... there is no equaliser to adjust the bass.

Is there anything available for me to use to sort out my issue?

what sound card you using
isnt there anything in the driver to turn it down
my realtek software has lots of setting to play around with

Sigmatel sound card in a Dell 1520 laptop.

I've searched for advanced options but i don't think they exsist.
