Graphic problem in Firefox 3.6/4 b11...

Hi there, I have an unusual graphic problem with Firefox 3.6/4 b11.

I have an image that seems to be a slightly different shade of colour in Firefox. The image is the same colour in IE 8/9 and SRWare Iron (a better chrome) and also in Photoshop where i did the editing. But its only in Firefox that the image appears a different shade. I've tried it both as a .jpg and .png and theres no difference.

I've included samples of the image screenshot from the different browsers. The sample image is made up of a left and right side which use the same background. But when you look at the Firefox sample, you can clearly see the colour change on the left image. Both the other samples are the correct way.

If anyone has any ideas as to why Firefox wants to be different, then please feel free to comment

What format is the image and have you tried changing it?

I think its in normal RGB8.

Firefox has a colour correction feature that works with images with an embedded colour profile.

Thats great, thx. Fixed it now by telling Photoshop to not save any ICC info with the file.
