Graphics & 3 Monitor Setup Advice

Im running a 4870X2 with 2 X Samsung 22" Monitors attached to both outlet of the gcard

I have just otained a third monitor "samsung 19inch" monitor which i also want to add to the setup!

I understand i would need another PCI-E graphics card to run the third monitor so ive also got meyself a XFX 7800GTX XXX Edition card.

Im running the rampage extreme motherboard so do i just slot the 7800 card in the spare PCI-E slot? does it need drivers to function correctly and if it does will the Nvidia drivers conflict with my 4870X2 ATI Drivers?

You can't use an Nvidia card, just get something like a 2400 ATI card.

The 2400 uses that same unified drivers as the 4870x2.

For less headaches and problems just get the cheapest ati card you can.

While a 7800GTX may work depending on which OS you use, I can imagine it wouldn't be that smooth of an experience.

If you're on XP or Win7 then you can do, if you're on vista you'll need an ati card.

you're both right it dont work on vista i tried last night

it was a long shot i know but i didnt spend any cash so it was just an experiment.
