Graphics Car Connection Help

Hi Guys

Need some help with connecting my graphics card to my power supply

I purchased the following and need to know what I need in order to connect the power supply to the graphics card

ATI Radeon HD 5830 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
OcUK Memphis Tower Case - Black

it seems to require PCI Express 6 Pin leads but the power supply does not have them

Any help would be appreciated.

PS when I opened the Tower packaging the courier service had bounced it the Polystyrene was smashed and the face of the case was completely detached, all the plugs snapped off but 2. Need it urgent so liquid nails on now

Hi Mate,

Thanks for the advice but I have already purchased the case and power supply,

What would happen, Would the Card just not work or would it damage the graphics card
Is there no adapter I could get, I was informed a 500W PSU would be ok

Looked on the label and its only a 450w PSU and not a 500 PSU as stated
Yeah its the one that came with the case. I Will purchase another
Just gutted coz its another £60 and delivery time .

May as well spend a few quid and get it right, Not off the the best start what with the case and now the power supply,
