Graphics Card - £150 - Recomendations

Lol, it's so funny there is no graphics card for that price region.

Like hangTime said, the 512mb X1950Pro, or if you want alittle more oomph, you could get a X1950XT for about £100 - £120.

The X1950Pro is much more available though.

your best bet is to wait around until you can scrape another 20-30 quid and score an 8800GTS somewhere.

Sure if you can find an x1950xt(x) then it is the next best thing to GTS320, but they are not easy to come by at a good price. You can get a 256meg version for around £109 but whether or not they are worth the extra £25 over the 512meg x1950pro is up to you.

Some people might find it strange me recommending a £84 card for a £150 budget, but to be frank most of the cards costing around £120-150 are nothing special (typically branded/overclocked 8600GTS).

The other option is of course to wait and see what price the 8700GTS comes out at. If you are lucky there might be a 256meg version coming it under £150.
