Hi

Looking for a graphics card need some advice/opinions please. Dont need top of range anywhere between sub £100 to £250.

Features req : HDMI & DVI/Quiter the better/
CUDA if still relevant but low don the need list. (For audio application Nebula Acustica Audio)
Current rig : i7 2.66/12gb OCZ Ram 1600 running at 1066/ EVGA X58 SLI mobo/Windows7x64 probably upgrade to W8 when SP1/Blue released.

Play few games (counterstrike, BF3, Command&Conquer) from time to time.

Main use DAW work (Cubase7.01)

Looking to get a touchscreen 10 point if possible in the near future.

Thanks

yeh u dont need pci express3 dont worry,
7850, 7950, 660 - at a good price, are the value for money cards right now

nvidia card for the 3d but most just buy it for the 120hz, allowing you to see 120fps etc, you mentioned you liked counterstrike :)

so any card without the 3d

there is a new asus 24inch 144hz on the way, if its worth waiting for i duno tho
next month apparently

Thanks wasn't thining of the 120hz benefits, so youve hooked me on that feature. Not worried about the 3D as I know I wont use it (got 3d TV rarely use despite the number of 3d films on media player).

I am considering waiting for the Samsung SC770 but will probably creepin £400+ and the LG IPS monitors have caught my eye...but will need some more saving and waiting.
