Hi there,

With the wild proliferation of graphics cards out there today, it seems impossible for the average guy like myself to know all the ins-and-outs of the current cards, so if any of you more informed people (dare I say experts?) could shed a swift bit of light on the subject, I can look at the suggestions more in depth and make my choice, I just need a pointer in the right direction:

I am about to build 2 PC's, one will be used mostly for graphic design and desktop publishing, plus a bit of gaming on the side and will be attached to a 24" 1920 x 1200 monitor ( let's call it the Office PC) and the other will be for my 2 kids to attach to a 26" LCD TV (via VGA) which has a native res of 1366 x 768 (the Games PC).

I Intend to build both PC's around the same MOBO with 2gigs of RAM and an Intel 6600 core2duo.

Please could someone point me in the rigth direction for both PC's:

For the Office PC, I want to work in Photoshop and Indesign at 1920 x 1200, and play games at their highest res with as many effects turned on as possible when I do so, on a budget of £150-200. Would also like if poss. on this budget to have dual DVI's for driving a 30" at a later date if possible.

For the Games PC, I want to do the same, but I assume running the TV at its max res in games won't need as powerful a card, and I would also like the option of ditching the card in 18 months for a DX10, so budget £100-£150.

I can pay more, but do I need to? Also forgot to mention, definitely have a prefernace for Nvidia.

Your advice and any pointers would be appreciated.
