Hi,

Currently have a 17" Flat screen monitor with a Radeon X800GT card but am now wanting a 20" widescreen ( a Samsung Pebble on offer in Overclockers) and want to ugrade the graphics card to go with it.

I dont have oodles of cash to splash around and was looking to gauge your opinion on a bang for buck card.

I play a MMORPGS nearly all the time and not any high end FPS shootem ups, as my reactions have gone to pot as i have got older.

8800 GT, should do the trick. Or a GTX, which is the fastest card at the moment. Bang for buck goes to the GT though. And just get the cheapest, and clock to desired clockspeed.

Is this going to be particularly power hungry in comparison to the X800GT?

I am not sure what PSU is in my system as I am at work at the moment.
