Hi,

I am looking to upgrade my graphics card, and I am after some advice on the best graphics card I can get for around the £150 mark?

My current system is:

Asus Sabertooth 990FX Motherboard
AMD FX-8120
16GB Kingston 8GB DDR3 1600MHz HyperX XMP Memory
XFX nVidia GeForce 8800GTS 320MB

It will be used for some gaming (GTR2).

Thanks

Nvidia

MSI GeForce GTX 660 Gaming Edition 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £149.99 plus free games and a mouse pad!

Although the 660ti at £179.99 is a lot better choice due to increase in stream processors

Sapphire Radeon R9 270X Boost OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Card £161.99 plus 4 free games

The AMD card will have the edge.

You are looking at £200-£249 for the next best ones.

There were a couple of b grade 7970 & 7950's for less than £200 but I noticed they have disappered quick.

Nvidia / AMD both are good, no one is better than the other.

Right now the 270X gets my vote, its quicker and a little cheaper.
