Hello there guys.

Ok, I'm after a AGP graphics card, something around the region of £140... I'll be using this monitor with it. (If it makes any difference, I have no idea !)

Monitor :

So, can you please tell me what graphics card would be a good idea to get for £140?

Thanks !!! :D :D

EDIT : Here are my basic specs if they are helpful :

Intel Pentium 4 HT - 3.00GHz
1GB Ram

for the screen size he is useing and the rest of his system he should save his cash and just get a 7600gs untill he upgrades to vista and dx10

7600GS is way to rubbish, I 100% will not get the 7600GS...

So, do you guys think I should go for the ATI Radeon X1950 Pro ?

Will there be much of a bottle kneck do you think ?

Thanks.

But with my current CPU I'd still be getting good performance from the card?
Absolutely. Every system has a bottleneck, even machines that cost many thousands of pounds. There's always going to be some limiting factor. You'll get fine performance from the card. :)

Hello again guys.

This probably is noobie of me but I notice that the "GeCube ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 256MB GDDR3 VIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (AGP)" says DVI...

My monitor isn't DVI.... The card will still be compatable wont it ?

Thanks !

Yes it will , you will get a VGA to DVI connector that comes with the gfx card for eg:
