Hi there, I'm pretty new here and to having a pc that can actually do anything.

I've just got a pc with a ATI radeon HD 5700 series graphics card which has 2 DVI ports and 1 HDMI and something else I've never seen before.
Here's the problem, I have 2 HD TV's and I'm trying to use my pc with HDTV one. However nothing shows up when connected to both hdmi ports on the tv. The pc works ok on HDTV two but takes about 100 restarts and several punches to get the TV to pick up a signal, I've also tried using a dvi to VGA adaptor am connecting the pc to both HDTV two and a seperate VGA monitor which just doesn't work at all.
Can anybody offer any advice or anything to try?
Thanks in advance.

What operating system do you have?
Do you have the latest drivers
As a rule connecting a HDMI port to a videocard the signal is sent automatically
So you should not have any problem connecting a TV
The second one can be set up by a DVI to HDMI adaptor
Or DVI to VGA adaptor

Windows 7
Yeah all latest drivers. I don't want to run both at the same time I just want the pc on the bigger tv So can move the smaller one out.
I've just installed amd catalyst manager and now the screens gone all green and refuses to change.
That's what I thought but the main tv isn't picking it up the screen just stays blue.

Cable seems fine it's my Xbox one, I've got it working on the TV at the moment but it just does as it pleases, if I restart the pc then the TV goes back to a blue screen on the HDMI channel, it takes a few restarts of both the pc and TV to get it back on, is this normal?

Might be something wrong with the videocard
It should not give you any trouble
If the Xbox is connecting to the tv without problems
The videocard is the problem
