Graphics card around £100?

Hi,

Im looking to upgrade my graphics card, a 3 year old (ish) ATi X1800XL which is starting to struggle in the latest games.
So, what is a good replacement for around the £100 mark.
Keeping in mind the 6% discount thats running and I also qualify for free shipping (Thank you OcUK).

Preferably ATi again but if an nVidia card is better value for money Ill happily switch over.
Ive not been in the loop for gfx cards for a while now, so no idea whats good anymore.

I think this one is the best your going to get at a budget ( ATI 4850 ). It will play all the latest games fine but slightly exceeds your required £100 mark. Worth it though.

No contest really if you can stretch the budget a bit - ATi HD4850

cheapest is on OCUK are the Gainward, Asus, HIS & Powercolor.

I'd go for the Asus mayself.

As w3bbo has said the 4850 is a great card and will play games fine.

As for Ram it all depends on the res you game at.

The 4850 1GB is not worth buying but the 4870 1GB is due to the little extra cost over the 512mb version.
