Graphics card backing plates

I purchased a low profile pci-e card, and didn't realize that the backing plate is designed for SFF.

I see that I should be able to remove the plate by loosening the screw and 2 thingies around the div socket, but I would then need a full size bracket to replace it with.

I can't seem to find any on overclockers, and know I can't ask for competitors, but if anyone knows if they can actually be bought separately, could you advise as to what they are technically called?

Cheers

I use a low profile card in my system, just took the face plate off and made sure that the card was wedged in place so couldn't move. I did this by bending out the small metal tabs on the card so that they go through the riser slot opening.

I think you'll have a hard time buying a replacement face plate, I was going to make one using a slot cover but then realised that the normal slot covers are actually not the same hence the reason for doing the above.

It might be hard to find an ATX backplate with the DVI slot and screwholes in exactly the right place for your card, so DIY could be your best option.

I managed to fit a SFF card into an ATX case by straightening the backplate in a vice, and then I made an L-shaped bracket which I just taped to the straightened backplate, and screwed it to the case.

There's no real pressure on the card to move, so you don't need it to be fixed rigidly in place.
