Hi im new on here and this is the first time I have posted so if im in the wrong place ..sorry

This is my first ever build I ve never owned a pc before but the more I resurched the more I realized pc's are much better for gaming than consoles so I decided to build one ...I have a question regarding my motherboards pci-e slots ..I have the asus sabertooth 990fx and my gpu is the powercolor 7870 myst edition unfortunately the gpu in the PCIe 2.0 x16_1slot covers the pci-e slot (PCIe 2.0 x1_1)slot so im wondering if I move the gpu to thePCIe 2.0 x16_2slot will it be ok,will I have to set anything in the bio's, will performance lag or is it just a simple swap it in and then put the network PCIe card in ..etc etc..

specs:
Fractal design define r4 case
asus sabertooth 990fx mobo
powercolor hd 7870 pcs+ myst edition(Tahiti) gpu
amd fx 8350 cpu
Kingston hyperx beast 1866mhz 8gb ram
corsair tx750 v2 psu
Samsung 840 120gb ssd
Seagate barracuda 7200rpm sata III 2TB hdd
amd stock cooler (for now)

plz help someone

thanks
