My friend has an Asus GTX 770 Nvidia GeForce DirectCU II OC 2GB GDDR5.
Sometimes when he boots up, he finds himself in Windows in VGA mode, which he cannot change the resolution of. If he simply tells windows to restart, the same will happen.
Seemingly the only way to get out of the VGA bootup issue, is to shutdown, turn off the PSU for 5-10 seconds, then boot up again. Then Windows will (typically) boot up into hires.
Has anyone got a suggestion of how to proceed with this problem?
Note: He sent the last graphics card back because of this problem, and it's still happening with the new replacement one!
