Graphics Card Broke??

I has a power cut and my pc didnt turn on for a day but then just started working.

But i have a few deal pixels, or what looks like dead pixels on the monitor since the power cut. I have just had it replaced and the new one has quite a few to but in different places.

I have also noticed that when booting up some of the white writing on the black screens before windows is distorted and random colors.

Could all these issues be down to my graohics card being nackered after the power cut?

Any way to check if it is the graphics card without buying another one? I suppose its possible i have two faulty monitors but unlikely.

Thanks

Could you post a photo of it, if it's dead pixels then it's the screens. I would have though a fried GPU would cover the screen in artefacts opposed to a few ones, but you never know.

I agree with Happy - especially the 'you never know' as these things never follow a hard and fast rule.

In the mean time i would try reseating the card and and checking the connections.
