1900x1200? a £75 card couldn't run two meters, let alone a game.

At your other res? find £25 more and get a 550ti. TBH I don't even know of a card out now that could do much of nothing for £75.

Sorry, I should have made it clear I am not looking to game at that resolution, that's the native resolution of my monitor.

I am happy to game at relatively low settings, as long as it is still playable.

1920x1200 you'd struggle to do any gaming with a card at that price dude. Even low settings. Half of the problem is that even on low resolutions you are still running hi res textures that need to be thrown around.

I refer to Skyrim as an example. IIRC one 5770 wasn't enough to run Fallout 3 at good settings on 1680x1050. I would imagine Skyrim is a little bit more demanding. The only way I could get it to work was to reduce draw distances so much I kept getting jumped on by Yao Guai. I couldn't see the gits coming :D

But yes. £100 gets you a 6850 or 550ti and I would see both as minimums in all honesty. They'd get you twice as far as any card costing £75.

Yeah it's worth it. The 550ti and 6850 are both cracking wee cards for the money, and you never know you might luck out and they get a bit cheaper :D
