Hi fellow people

I'm looking at upgrading my graphics card, I currently have a asus gtx 570 with a ocz750 psu,
I have the choice of 2 cards :-

1st one is:
Gigabyte R9 270x 2gig DDR5

Or

2nd one is:
Msi R9 270 Gaming 2gig Ddr 5

So which is best, and I have allways had Nvidia cards never had a ati card.

270X is faster than 270.
if im not wrong performance wise, 270 is like 570, and 270X is like 580, slightly faster on AMD cards, but still dont know if the performance jump is enough for you.
the 280X would definitly be a significant boost

A slight update i have found this card Sapphire Technology AMD Radeon R9 270X 1020MHz 4GB GDDR5 going for £10 more than the other 2 but it has more ram is it worth paying a bit more for the extra ram?

Not unless you are running a resolution higher than 1080p. Have you looked for a cheap 280x? They are re-branded 7970s! A well known auction site had a few going for £150-£170 ish.

The sapphire r9 280x of 3gb card I have heard lots of horror stories about the sapphire card haveing lots of problem with a black screen from the gpu and the fans catching on the graphics card case.
Do I need to worry and what is sapphire support like.

Hi people sorry to revie this thread again but I have found a potential used graphics card on gu****e and I need to know is it a good card? The card is MSI AMD Radeon 7950 oc boost 3gb DDR5.

But from.what I have been reading this card runs very hot eg 60-70 degrees which is quite hot, the card is on sale for £100 is it worth it

60 degrees is very cool.

Hi thank you for the quick reply I have a amd fx 8130 I think it's the 8 core cpu clocked to 3.8 I can't get it clocked anymore which is a shame.

My Psu is a Ocz 750 is that good enough?
And I though 60-70 is to hot for these graphics card?

So it won't damage the gpu on the card running at 60-70 all the time and it should be good enough card to last me a for a few years then yeah and run games at high and ultra detail.
