Just looking about a few different cards on the market and came across these at roughly the same price (obv different from brand to brand)

but you can get an XFX 8800GTX 768Mb card for the same price as a BFG 9800GTX+ 512Mb card.

what would be the main difference and what would you choose.?

surly the 8800GTX cant compete.?

The 9800GTX+ is based on an upgrade of the 8800GTX core; but they narrowed the bus to 256bit, so it doesn't actually perform as well at higher resolutions.

8800GTXs are wayyyy EOL now, so if the price is over £80 it's a rip off.

so why create a new card that does not perfor as well.?

why wouldnt someone go for a 8800GTX instead.?
