Does anybody know why my ATI Radeon 4690 4GB graphics card fan is so loud, like immensely loud. I have tested and unplugged the fan cable from the card and it runs at a normal level sound wise, plug the fan back in and its crazy loud - I have downloaded MSI Afterburner but cant alter the fans for some reason, so it is broken?
What is causing it to be so loud, I have looked at just getting a new card, but the card is fine in itself, it is just the fan, I am at the moment just using the onboard graphics which is no good for gaming
Can it be fixed, I am guessing it wouldn't be wise to run it without a fan??
