Looking for a graphics card for a Windows 2008 R2 Server.

The main requirement is something that auto-downclocks on idle, to save power and reduce heat. Performance is not all that important so some lowend card.

Passively cooled would be good or just something that is silent.

I know that ATI do not support 2008 R2 so their catalyst drivers will not install.
Im not sure what NVidias support is like for the OS.

I do have a server with an ati 3450, however the drivers are very old (from 2007) and it does not support the auto down clocking feature.

Utter rubbish, all our servers have ATI video chipsets.

That was just from personal experience, only the drivers from the original cd would install properly for the card (which are now 4 years old). Most problems seemed to revolve around the control center.

For those running atis within servers are those consumer graphics cards or specific business versions(firepro)/onboard solutions?
