Hi guys, I don't know what's out there. I am currently running a GTX 570 and I have to have everything on low-medium settings for both games for optimal FPS.

Is it still possible to get a graphics card where I can set the settings to medium/high for about £200?

We need to know your rig.. But heres a few notes about each game.

BF4 should be happy with something like a 7950 or similar from nvidia.

CoD:Ghost is a piece of trash at this point. It runs horrible on pc for the most part. So many bugs. Some people with SLI titans are getting drops to 30 fps including stutter and other issues. And the story doesnt look better if you look at single GPU performance in this game. So it would be pointless to buy hardware to play that game considering how broken it is in its current state(but hey.. its infinity ward in a nutshell).

I run COD Ghosts with my cpu @ 4.4 and running my 7950 boost 1150/1400 and it runs fine on ultra settings @1080, sometimes frames drop to the 40s but game remains smooth throughout, typically around the 60-70fps. Would recomend a 7950, though if you can afford it a 280x would be a little better.

This is my current PC, I'm not intending on upgrading the other parts. :o

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz
16GB RAM
Windows 7 x64
120GB SSD

I heard that the Geforce 760 GTX should do the trick??

I've both games installed and both I run on medium (well try to, I can't stand the jaggies... but it's not smooth)... these are the only games I play and I just want the best experience without going overboard.

I used to do this upgrade thing every 6 months to a year but I don't do that sort of thing now. ;)

Im happy that you are not severaly affected.

Here is a few links to sites talking about the overall issue of that game.

For a game that is not really that good looking compared to what else is out there its clear that the engine isnt doing the job good enough. I just hope for those of you who do like CoD that it gets fixed as fast as possible so you can enjoy yourself without all these annoying issues.

BF4 on a 7950 on 1100/1250 buttery smooth just turned HBAO off iirc.

No idea on fps as I don't really care as long as it's smooth. :)

This is also at 1200p.

I see your CPU is only running at 3.3ghz, best thing you can do is overclock it, at least to 4ghz should give you a boost, before worrying about a GPU upgrade.
