Hi people. As i don't use my pc for video or dvds i was wondering if a bog standard FX5200 or 5500 or equivalent ATI would be ok. The pc it will be going in won't be used for gaming at all and im trying to keep the cost down as far as pos. Basically im building a base unit for my sister from some bits i have left over just to bring her a bit more up to speed from the old xp2600 she has. Will these cards be ok for her use do u think? any suggestions?

By the way, im using and old Asus A8V Deluxe mobo, so agp is the only route we can go.

As i said in the thread title, watching dvd's and video files, with the normal windows use, no games, no rendering, no video editing, nothing strenuous whatsoever.

I only use mine for windows and gaming so i know about gaming graphics cards, but never really researched the video/dvd playback side
