This is probably not a query you see very often but I hope someone can help.

I'm hoping to upgrade my whole system and I ONLY run OpenSUSE 10.2.
I mainly play Unreal Tournament 2004, but will want to play UT3 when it's finally released.

Running Linux means that Direct X means absolutely nothing to me, instead it's OpenGL performance that matters.

I am currently running an Nvidia 6800 128MB AGP, I would like to upgrade to another Nvidia card PCI-E, however I can't really afford the 8800 range at the moment.

What would you recommend?

Thanks for the welcome and suggestion, that card is a lot more friendly on the old budget :)

I mentioned Nvidia in my post because I know ATI can be a pain under Linux and I'm all for the easy life where I can get away with it ;)

Claire, what have the Palit make got over the others?

I notice that overclockers sell an EVGA one with a 500MHz core.
