graphics card for triple screen

Hello

I'm looking for a graphics card for my friends pc that is capable of running games on triple screens (the screens being the Asus VS247H)

He does not have a budget as I don't know what graphics card would be capable of playing games on three displays or how to wire them to the graphics card's I/O

Pretty much anything nowadays will drive triple screens so knowing a budget is crucial. I would advise against anything with 2gb or less VRAM however. Budget really needed before serious advice can be given I think.

he has plenty of money so it's not a huge issue, just something that will give him good FPS on three screens without going with something stupid like a titan. He is trying to find out how much to spend.

Would a single 280x have the I/O for three screens? how would one go about wiring them up?

Actually right now I'd advise an Nvidia SLI setup for triple screen based simply on the fact that while AMD have resolved their crossfire microstutter issue they haven't yet fixed it on eyefinity (triple screens).

So either a new AMD 290 or if he's ok with multiple cards then one of the NV equivalents (680, 770 or 780 SLI but make sure you pick one with 4gb VRAM).

For cheaper budget you really can't go wrong with a 7970 3gb especially the Matrix Platinums.

I say wait for what the 290 and 290x brings, it could be your friends solution to multi-display, single gpu gaming at a much more affordable price.

With the premium that comes with high memory version of nvidia cards, going SLI will be expensive!

Thank god you said this. Declaring no budget for a 'spec me' thread is almost always a thread killer.
