Its a gtx 970 black oc edition don't know how to fasten the graphics card without screws, it's just sitting in the pci slot with nothing to keep it in place!

Graphics cards never come with screws. Screws comes with your case. If you don't have any screws, you will need to go out and purchase some.

Because when the pc is turned the right way around, the graphics cards won't be supported by the screws if you know what I mean. E.g turn the picture 45 degrees clockwise.

Thanks

Those two screws will help hold it if its slotted in the pcie slot properly. That bracket is connected to the spine of the card., there may be some sag at the far end but thats common. Use a rod or string or the pcie power cables to support some of the weight if it bothers you.
And yes Cases normally come with those screws not the GPU. Did you remove a pcie slot cover from there? it may of had the screws

Put two screws in the 2 circles in the picture, then turn the picture 90 degrees clockwise. The screws will become useless. Do I maybe stick some screws in the little rectangle spaced parts you see in the picture near the bottom?

I can see where you're coming from with that idea, but in reality that doesn't happen. If you left the screws loose then yes, the holes would be useless. That's why you have to tighten them up, and 'screw' them in.

Surely you have some laying around? If not you'll have to buy some because it is the case that comes with the screws normally. I wouldn't leave it sitting like that though because your card will sag and it is putting your PCI-E lane under pressure.

I know the pc is horizontal in the picture. I would break the pci slot and 280 quid would be well and truly lost lol

One screw is usually enough to hold a card in place if you can't find another screw, just use a tie wrap that's small enough to fit through the hole :)
