I come seeking advice, I purchased the ASUS R9 290x around 10 months ago. I have had no issues since and the computer has been fine ever since. Until today... the computer randomly just died when playing Rust and i could not turn it back on again. I mean it was literally dead. I thought maybe it was the PSU dying but when i opened the case..the graphics card displayed two little green lights where the power cables were connected to it so the PSU can't be faulty.... I googled around and some advice was to try and remove all extra things from the computer including any graphics cards, RAM sticks e.t.c and boot with the bare minimal.
I did this...and the computer booted up fine. I started adding everything back 1 by 1 and ultimately found that the computer will not boot at all if the graphics card is connected whilst it will boot fine with out.
When I first took the card out, it was pretty hot...like one would assume but no smoke or sighs of anything being burnt out and everything "looks" fine... I don't honestly know what could be wrong with it...but is there anything you would suggest? or is it just blown....
please advise thanks
