Graphics card gone ?

Last night i cleaned out all of the dust from my computer and there was a lot, around the cpu there was about an inch of dust and the same with the heatsink. I reinstalled the thermal paste and set the computer back up and it worked fine ran prime 95 for an hour and temps were 20c cooler on the cpu and the gpu was at about 50c so went and plaed crysis for a few hours..
today i come on load up crysis and then when the server finished loading the screen went black and it froze and i had to restart and when it loaded up to the login screen there were blue squiggly lines all over and when i tryed to login it froze again and i had to restart and now i cant even get to the login screen it just goes black and the monitor goes to sleep and i have to restart
so i tryed to run startup repair/repair your computer and when i hit enter the screen just flashed then nothing happens it doesnt launch it so i ran in savemode with networking and got to the desktop and there are 4 sets of 7blue vertical lines so i thought it must be the monitor so pluged the pc int the tv and the same thing is happing .

So what has gone wrong ? any help will be great thanks.

I also had this issue with my graphics card, 9600 GS. It turned out that many people had the same problem with my graphics card and that the problem was something to do with voltage and the fix would require welding.

I decided that I will just buy a new graphics card.

Try taking your card out and plug your monitor into your board, this will tell you if your card is ******...
