Graphics card help - Green picture.

Hi,

My graphics card is a GTX560Ti and I use 2 monitors.

The graphics card has 2 x DVI ports.

The port on the left of the graphics card works absolutely fine, but if I plug a DVI to DVI cable in from my other monitor and into the other DVI port on the graphics card, the picture will just be totally green. The way to fix it is by connecting a VGA cable from the monitor and then using a VGA to DVI adapter into the graphics card.

I can't understand why this is, because if the DVI connection was faulty on the graphics card then the picture would still be green when using a VGA to DVI adapter?

Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Cheers

The converter isn't using the same pin out that's faulty would be my guess so it's still a faulty port. If there's a colour out on only one of them I can't think of what else it could be.

When I use the VGA cable with the converter I notice that there is a lot of fuzziness on text and it's annoying.

I think the 560Ti has a mini hdmi port. Could I get a DVI to mini HDMI cable?
