Graphics Card in SLI Causing Game Crahes.

Hey guys,

I currently own to 2 x GTX 770, and im running them in SLI. They are both at stock settings as they come so no additional overclocking.

My problem is when I go into games ( only tested 2, crisis 3 and battlefield 3 ) I get the following message after entering the game for a few seconds ( multiplayer and singleplayer ) "crysis 3 has stopped working" "battlefield 3 has stopped working"

This only happens when SLI is enabled if I just use one card they run fine.

Both cards run benchmarks fine in SLI and they are not overheating never reaching more than 70oc full load.

I have tried various methods to try and solve the problem as others seem to have experienced this, but my problem only seems to come with SLI....

Hope someone can help.. Here are my full system specs.

i5 Ivybridge @ 4.8ghz With h100 Cooler
Asus z77 Sabertooth
ocz 1250watt PSU
16GB Corsair vengeance Ram
Samsung 830 256GB SSD
2 x Msi 770 Lightning Running 320.48 Drivers ( Happened on 320.08 )
Windows 8 64Bit

That's weird? It doesn't happen to me? You could be bottlenecked with your i5.

I don't know. I was just throwing ideas out there. Try a reinstall of divers. I complete clean and then install again

the i5 is also clocked at 4.8ghz, thought that was relatively quite high?

Also wiped everything and started again , wiped the full Harddrive

Have you tried putting the cpu back to stock settings in case its an unstable OC?

A complete reinstall of win does sux,but has to be done sometimes. Hope your issue goes away.

Yeah it does it didn't resolve the problem I'm afraid . Ill try the cpu settings now!

I know the cards are working properly cause my unigine heaven score is right under yours, just these two games are a problem

Damn dude! I have no idea? Maybe one of the cards is faulty?

I thought that but they both run fine on there own, tried them singular in both pcie slots and they both run awesome on there own. Soon as SLI is enabled that when the problems start

Maybe the PCI-E slot is faulty? That's happened to me years ago. Something isn't right though?

Have you updated your Bios on your mobo lately?

Try a different SLi bridge.
