Just to check as I could not find a clear answer pressing search (this is where I get proven wrong) 
To install my new x1900xt do I do the following:
1. Add remove programmes to remove ATI programmes
2. Device manager to remove X850XT
3. Shut down PC
4. Remove X850XT and replace with X1900Xt (obviously plug in leads)
5. Restart and use drivers from X1900XT cd?
Should I use driver cleaner to ensure all previous traces are gone or as its ATI replaced with ATI does it not matter?
