Hi
I have just set up a new system to use Vista 64 bit. The spec is as follows.
Intel Core 2 Duo Quad QX6700
4Gb Crucial PC8500 @ 1066Mhz
ASUS P5K deluxe mobo
XFX 8800 ultra
Enermax 720w PSU
2 x 74Gb raptors
My problem is that Vista installs perfectly but does not recognise the 8800 ultra. I have updated the BIOS and drivers and vista is patched as well. It just reports the card as a standard VGA adapter. So I have ben and installed XP Pro 32bit, that installs perfectly and it can see the card and loads drivers no problem at all. Am I missing a trick here or is Vista mocking me!
