Graphics card issue

Currently got a X1950Pro, tried running TF2 and COD4 and the game crashes about 5monutes into gameplay. Ive also got an old X700Pro 256Mb both games run fine using that.

The X1950Pro runs fine with vista using 1920x1200 on my 24'' but the X700Pro 256Mb doesnt. Iam not 100% sure that my X1950Pro is faulty, can anyone advise me what I can do to sort this problem out?

Appreciate any advice :)
