Hello guys I have purchased a new laptop, I have noticed it has 2x Graphics cards - 1 Nvidia Geforce and and onboard Intel graphics card ( assuming this is on the mother board ). My computer is using the onboard one instead of the nvidia one that I want it to use , how can I change this? There is no option in device manager or in the BIOS. I am totally lost any help is greatly appreciated.

It should be using nvidia optimus so will use Intel HD when doing light work and then the Geforce should kick in when needed. I believe there is a way to force it to use the Geforce at all times though, try looking for nvidia optimus settings.
