[ EDIT: RMA'd it ]
Hiya,
I just bought a cheap clearance line EVGA GTX460 SC 1GB from here to get along with for the moment as i was strapped for cash.
So it came today and i gave the pc a good clean of dust and fitted it in. Now i noticed that as soon as i booted my pc i saw no GFX card boot info (where on my older cards i always had some GFX card boot info, then it would goto the MOBO boot info screen where i can go into bios) and it just goes straight to my MOBO boot info screen which is resonably oversized compared to how it used to be.. its like its on some really low resolution where all the writing is oversized (i can access the bios though).
At this point i thought it was a little strange, anyhow i decided to reinstall windows 7.. upon loading from the disk, i am getting white horizontal lines going across my screen on the whole installation of windows 7, and if i move my mouse around it distorts them.
Tried plugging lead into both dvi ports, same effects - so im wondering whats going on here. And i doubt that it is my monitor since that was working fine before i fitted this card.
Any help would be appreciated, cheers.
