I am having driver issues or something with vista 64 when i install the 9.3 drivers i reboot when i boot back up i get incompatible display adapter has been disabled?

In gpu z it shows crossfire is off not sure if that means anything.

Its driving me nuts i have uninstalled drivers and ran driver sweeper in safe mode to the same affect.

I hate vista had it 2 days and i hate it.

Mate i am having issues here.

I will explain.

i go into the overdrive tab at the top it says select gpu to configure which is ati radeon hd 4870 xz (defaultcrt) the gpu clock is 750 and the memory clock is 900 however at the bottom it comes up with current values gpu clock 507 and memory clock 500???

Temps are 36 which seems fine.

I then select a different gpu im guessing its the other 4870 as my card is the x2 core and memory clocks are the same and match the current values temps read 47 for this one.

i currently have 9.3 ati drivers installed and i am using vista 64bit.

However i cannot adjust the fan speed for this one and on the right it says 0RPM for fan speed is that normal?

in gpu z at the bottom it says ati crossfire enabled (2gpus) sideport off (insure on vista)

Is all this right because its doing my nut in not knowing i do get some errors when trying to select the second gpu also. It says ati overdrive capabilitys have not been intialised yet please try again later

I installed netframework or something version 3 from microsoft updates it does not do it as much but still pops up every now and then.

I am using 9.3 drivers and i am running vista 64bit.

The current values is right as thats the 2D speeds, your overclocked speeds you set will come into affect when you go into 3D mode (gaming). :)

Not sure on the fan issue, could be normal if you have a reference x2, as they only have 1x fan, so the second core would probably register a fan speed of 0rpms as it doesn't have one, and probably why you can't adjust the fan for it.

Gah i was beaten again :p

I have the asus tri-fan edition mate.

SO when i am gaming both gpus with be at 750 and 900 i take it.
