My graphics card exploded inside my case, opened it to find the fan on the card is naff, and one of the fins broke off.
I took apart the fan and the card seems to work fine still, but it will heat up like a pizza without a fan, so any ideas what i should do??

It was a Radeon x-edition 7870, wern't that bad really, handled games pretty well, it was just so noisy.

Should I just upgrade and get a new card?

Comments on what you would do would be nice, thanks.

You'll probably have some warranty left however as you've fiddled with it it might not be RMAable. I would buy an aftermarket GPU cooler.

Nothing, bought the card from a friend a while ago.
No budget really. But the most demanding game I play is skyrim i think.

I'd just drop a 120 ish odd quid on a 270x , same card pretty much slightly better performing . Unless you wanna push up to a 280x I see no reason to spend more
