Graphics card making noises

Hi i have an msi 6970 with twin forza II cooling, i noticed last night that one of the fans wasn't spinning. Turns out one of the fan blades broke off and lodged the fan. I have dislodged it and now it is making more noise than usual is it worth RMAing it just to get rid of the noise?

Yes, the broken fan could damage the card further.

With a blade missing the fan will be horribly out of balance and will stay noisy. It'll probably accelerate the wear on the fan bearings as well. It needs fixing.

ok if it needs fixing how do i go about that? do i contact overclockers or msi

also i still have the original box it came in

I'd start with a message to OcUK and see how much sympathy you get. Fan blades aren't the sort of thing that spontaneously fall off.

yeah that was my thoughts it's a fan blade
