I recently bought 3 R9 280X's and plugged just the one in, no problem.
Popped in another one and nothing, no boot.
Took out the good one and swapped in the one I'd just added, but still, no boot.
Now, I'm getting two LED lights on the graphics card to indicate it's getting power in both sockets but as soon as I hit the "power on" button, the PSU starts to fire, then stops pretty much immediately.
The same thing happened with the 3rd one!!
Problem with the graphics card or simply not seating correctly (which I think is fine?)? Surely I can't have had two out of three bad cards
Note: I have an Enermax Platimax 1350w PSU and the ASUS DirectII TOP cards.
Any help much appreciated!!
Regards,
Andrew
