hi there, ive just water cooled my system and my graphics cards (sapphire HD6950 toxics in X fire)are now the noisiest thing in my computer, even though they are under water......the noise is like a clicking sound, and could only be heard when the screen saver kicked in or if i scrolled on the mouse when browsing the net.......

i always put the noise down to the rear fan making the noise on idle......today my ccfl psu dropped off the side panel...so off came the side panel to try and put the psu back in place.....so with the side panel off i decided to investigate the noise.....

so i unplugged the rear fan....noise was still there....so i got my mic out and started probing around.......

i disabled the primary card and the noise went away......so went into bios and changed the primary adapter to the 2nd card and booted up.....no problems at all, no clicking sound...i then enabled x fire and ran unigine , no clicking but the card is whining a bit......

is it ok to leave the second card as primary? as i can put up with the whine....but the clicking drove me barmy.......

should i rma this card? its around 6 months old.......
