Hey guys i've got quite a doosy of a problem, Basically idling my computer theres no problems with it everythings fine but recently when i try even load a game or a benchmark or anything GPU heavy my graphics card displays either a black screen, lines going down my screen or odd colours such as screen of pink, sometimes green or just hangs.
My graphics card isn't overclocked and i've put my CPU and ram back to stock settings, i've tried 4 versions of drivers even downgraded from win7 to win vista to see if there was any problems with 7 (where the problem began) and it's the same with Vista, Both 64 bit versions it'll flash before crashing sometimes and it'll say the display driver failed and recovered then crash 2 minutes after.
I have ran prime95 on my processor and memory and there's no issues with those.
I've reinstalled the drivers countless of times now driver swept old drivers and freshly downloaded the new ones after everything was gone.
The card is an ATI Sapphire 4870 512MB Card, About 13 month old now. anyone got any solutions? The card has been flashed by myself as the bios version 001 was causing problems when first bought, never had a problem with 002.
Thanks, Jim.
