Well im wondering here if my gtx 470 uses more power when overlocked with only clock & shader increase or only when voltages are increased also.

The reason i ask is this, i have a corsair hx 750 and it runs my overclocked i7 920 and sli 470s just fine, but im wondering if running the cards @ 708 core and 1415 shaders will be using more power than the 608 & 1215 stock clocks, or if only actualy changing the voltage will make the card consume more power ?

Good question. Yes it will.
But It won't be drastically more like upping the voltage though.

U bought wrong gfx cards to worry about a few W more. Considering 470 SLI pull over 400w :)
