Graphics card prices?

It's gone up £60 in a 5 weeks.
Graphics cards seem to be cheaper on day of release then go up as they get older.
They have been £499 , £479 , £539
I have learnt to buy when they have just come out if you want to get them cheap.
As far as I understand they have stopped or are about to stop making the GTX590 so up goes the price of the GTX580 3GB.
I have a GTX580 3GB that is being RMA having a replacement sent first before I send the damaged one back, but I may keep the damaged one aswell as it's just been released & you can't get them anymore & it's still useable.

With people holding off now with the expected Amd 7***series in mid december I expect there will have to be some good deals soon to shift the older stock, already see a thread somewhere which states Nvidia are doing a 'sale' in December for 570\580 where it was stated the 580 will come down to £240, about time if you ask me, though I'm waiting for the new cards, unless there is an unbelievable deal to temp me.
