Hi, I recently bought a Nvidia 8800GTS as a stop gap card card until I get something better. It all installed fine using the latest downloaded drivers but I have noticed something not quite right when I'm playing games.
When the camera pans at speed from top to bottom I can notice what I can only describe as an "invisible line/lines" or a "tear" which seems to separate one portion of the screen from the other. It looks almost like when you look at the pavement on a hot day and can see a kind of transparent version of what you are looking at in front of it.
Does anyone know what this anomally could be or have a solution to fix it ?
The rest of my system specs are :
AMD Phenom II 955 BE
4gb OCZ Platinum edition
1440 x 900 res monitor
Everything is running at stock speeds.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
