Graphics card problem ?

So i done my first build last year in october and everything went smooth completely no problems at all until earlier tonight.

My comp had went into standby/power saving mode for maybe 2 hours when i went to put it back on there was no picture.

The computer itself seems to be working, I went and got and old CRT monitor and tried that on both output's on the graphics card and im getting nothing.

The card is a Powercolor Radeon 5850.

I'll be honest and say that i'm fairly clueless as to what to do now.

Any help would be appreciated.

So i decided to open the case up and power it up to see if there was anything noticeable that wasn't working/powering up.

Everything appears to be powering up case fans , cpu cooler , graphics card fan is spinning up.

The hard drive sounds like its spinning up but the light on the front of the case that would normally flicker(to indicate hard drive activity i believe ?) doesnt appear to be doing anything.

As i said before i'm clueless when it comes to fault finding like this, I really dont know where to start.

Any guidance on what to do next would be great because i am stumped now.
