Graphics Card Problem

Hi all,

My system displays at boot for a couple of seconds and then goes blank. Every 10 seconds or so it will display for a second.

Tried different PCI-E slots, different power connectors, different DVI/HDMI ports and it's all the same.

Any tricks out there to sort the problem out?

If not, what card is comparable to an ati 5870 ideally with a small gain in performance?

Whats your full rig specs, include model types etc.

What are you trying to connect it to.

i7 920 @ 4ghz
Gigabyte UD5 motherboard
6GB ram
Ati 5870.

Connecting to a Samsung 24inch monitor which it has been connecting fine to previously.

try setting your hard drive to ahci mode

Cooler master 750w. Not sure of the exact model. Had it a while now
