Hey everyone,

At xmas i finally upgraded my PC. However i just stuck with my old GTX 260 as the ATI cards where hitting the market soon and i wanted to see the effect on pricing.

So I'm currently thinking about an upgrade to the card (for tera beta, also for some reason mass effect 2 will NOT run on my win7/gtx260). However i read there are more cards to be released soon?

Should i upgrade now or wait awhile? If it's time to upgrade what would be your suggestions? My budget is £250

My current system:

i5 2500k
8GB Kingston HyperX
Asrock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 Intel Z68
850w XFX PSU

Also I tend to be more favorable towards nvidia cards, had some problems with ATI/amd cards/drivers in the past, and as the saying goes once bitten twice shy.

Cheers.

In the current market the GTX 570 or HD 6970 would be a great purchase if you want to buy right now. Otherwise you could wait a little while and see what the 7800 series of AMD cards are like on the price/performance front or wait even longer to see what the nVidia 6** series cards are like when they're released (no definite date yet)

I did think of maybe the 560ti? but with the possibility of a lot of new tech on the horizon i just dunno what to do.
